Dimming Inventronics Drivers

Established in 2007, Inventronics is a leading manufacturer of high power LED drivers, with products certified to international safety and performance standards. Inventronics drivers are commonly found in many of the high power LED lighting products from top horticultural lighting brands in the industry.

Are Inventronics drivers dimmable?

Most of the Inventronics drivers commonly used in horticultural lighting are dimmable, including the ESD, EUD, ESM, SUM, and SSM series. All 0-10V dimmable Inventronics drivers are compatible with the GrowFlux Universal Dimmer.

Do Inventronics drivers dim to off?
Dimmable Inventronics drivers used in horticulture most often feature dim to off; this includes the ESD, EUD, ESM, SUM, and SSM series drivers. Dim to off allows the LED driver to completely power down the light through the 0-10V interface. This eliminates the need for timers, relays, contactor panels, and switched circuits on the mains AC wiring, potentially saving a lot of money on installation. The GrowFlux Universal Dimmer includes enhanced support for dim to off when connected to many LED drivers, ensuring growers that lights are reliably turning off.
How to connect Inventronics drivers to the GrowFlux Universal Dimmer

Inventronics drivers with dimming capabilities ship with a cable on the driver with several bare low voltage wires. If your driver came from a lighting manufacturer, it may have a specialized connector installed. The wiring diagram below shows the most common color coding on the dimming wires on Inventronics drivers:

How to connect multiple Inventronics drivers to a Universal Dimmer

Up to 50 Inventronics drivers can be connected to one Universal Dimmer. The dimming signal can be daisy chained to multiple lights with tees and extension cables. Alternatively, drivers can be field wired using customer supplied wiring; we recommend 22AWG minimum gauge wire for up to 150 feet.
